Abstract

Along with the times marked by technological developments. In 2008, a technology called blockchain emerged. Blockchain is a digital data storage system consisting of several servers (multiserver). In blockchain technology, data created by one server can be replicated and authenticated by other servers. Blockchain is not limited to the financial sector or known as cryptocurrency. Because data recording technology and mini-events can be used in many fields, such as recording the course of an event, documentation, or voting. Therefore, in the world of education it is hoped that this technology can be adopted to advance the education system, especially in Generation Z. Blockchain-based technology in the world of learning can be used at all levels, both institutions, groups, individuals, nations, and countries, even internationally. This applies to all types of institutions, from elementary to high school, universities, colleges, cooperatives, and scholarships. Blockchain technologies that can be used in education include APPII, Sony Global Education (SGE), Parchment, Edgecoin, GradBase, ODEM, Origin-Stamp, Blockcerts, Echolink, and TeachMePlease (TMP). © 2024 American Institute of Physics Inc..
