Alongside the growing demand for businesses to improve their operational efficiency and make decisions based on data, there has been an increase in the use of electronic human resource management (E-HRM). Therefore, the purpose of this investigation is to carry out a more in-depth investigation into the ways in which electronic human resource management (E-HRM) can improve the performance of an organization and establish a sustainable competitive advantage, particularly in the context of organizations that are in the process of undergoing digital transformation. For the purpose of this inquiry, a quantitative descriptive technique and Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) are utilized. Two hundred managers and human resource professionals in Indonesia who were using electronic Human Resource Management (e-HRM) systems participated in a field survey that was conducted in order to collect data. The study's findings reveal that Electronic HRM influences Organizational Performance. Additionally, Electronic HRM impacts Sustainable Competitive Advantage. The significance of investing in digital-based HR systems, aligning business strategies with HR technology, and enhancing digital literacy among the workforce is underscored by the findings of this study. This will enable the full optimization of the benefits of E-HRM implementation. © 2025 IEEE.
