In 2024, Komnas Perempuan reported 25,330 occurrences of sexual violence in Indonesia and 21,952 female victims. The government has long implemented Law Number 12 of 2022 (The Law on Sexual Violence Crimes) to eliminate and prevent Crime Against Humanity, especially the sexual exploitation of Indonesian women. This study aims to identify the regulation's content, identify its challenges, and optimize its implementation. The analysis shows that the Law on Sexual Violence Crimes protects us from all forms of sexual violence, including UPT PPA in 38 provinces. Due to a patriarchal society, community participation in sexual violence prevention activities is low. To optimize The Law on Sexual Violence Crimes, socialize the value of government-community cooperation in sexual violence eradication programs. © 2024, Diponegoro University. All rights reserved.
