Abstract

This study aimed to analyze creative thinking ability in geometry mathematics learning through the discovery strategy-based SAVI model. The type of research used is descriptive-qualitative with research subjects 6 students selected by purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and tests of creative thinking ability. There are five indicators of creative thinking ability analyzed: Fluency, Flexibility, Originality, Elaboration, and Evaluation. The results showed that the upper group students met all indicators of creative thinking ability. Middle and lower group students met the indicators of fluency, flexibility, and authenticity. The indicators of skills in elaborating and evaluating answers have not been achieved. © 2023 Author(s).
