Abstract

The spatial modelling of traffic noise is helpful as a basis for determining noise reduction policies. The method used to build the model is usually the interpolation between the noise measurement points, which is not representative. We tried to conduct preliminary research on noise mapping, which started from the fact that the noise originates from the vehicle and is influenced by the distance factor of the noise source and the barrier. The results of our study indicate that for the analysis process, we think the method used is cost-distance analysis. This analysis tends to be simple, where the input from this analysis is road data and IFSAR DEM. © 2023 Author(s).
