Abstract

Carbon derived from metal organic framework (MOF) has a huge potential to be used as an energy storage material, because the material has a large surface area and an adjustable pore structure. In this study, MOFs were synthesized by heating at temperatures between 200 °C and 600 °C. The resulting MOF is MOF5 (Zn4O(1,4-benzodicarboxylate)3). The surface microstructure of MOF5 was characterized using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and the elemental composition was determined by Energy Dispersive Spectromentry (EDS). Meanwhile, the electrical properties of the MOF were measured using an Elkahfi I-V meter. © 2023 Author(s).
