One of the technologies used in learning is the use of e-modules with Flip PDF Professional-based Simulation. The research has the aim of knowing the effectiveness and development of e-module learning with Flip PDF Professional based on simulations visual basic for powerpoint applications and optical nomograph. In this study uses development research, ADDIE research model. The effectiveness of learning using E-modules learning on concave mirrors and convex mirrors for class VII SMP by calculating Effect Size (E_S). The results of the calculation of E_S are then interpreted to see the effectiveness criteria of E_S=0.48 with the category classified as moderate. Data collection techniques used were interviews, Likert scale polling, documentation, and tests to determine the effectiveness of using essay questions. Analysis of the effectiveness of the test results in the form of pretest or posttest, to determine the effectiveness of using the Effect Size test. © 2023 Author(s).
