Abstract

The Tolman-Bondi-de Sitter metric is a solution to Einstein's field equation which describes the inhomogeneous gravitational collapse in an asymptotically de Sitter spacetime. This paper examines the modification of this metric with the presence of a function f(r, θ) on the radial term, which certainly makes this metric more general. We use Cartan's structure equations to calculate several important aspects namely Riemann tensor, Ricci tensor, Ricci scalar, and Einstein tensor. We analyze two general conditions that arise as a result of two main constraints after analyzing Einstein's field equations. Finally, we also analyze the conditions for the existence of the real singularity of this metric. © 2023 Author(s).
