Communication in general can be interpreted as a way to convey a message from the messenger to the recipient of the message to inform, opinion, or behavior either directly orally or indirectly through the media. In communicating, you must think about how to make the message conveyed by someone can be understood by others. To develop communication skills, people can convey in various languages including mathematical language. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with research subjects consisting of 30 students of Al-Bahjah Islamic High School (SMAIQu) Al-Bahjah Cirebon. The data were obtained from the results of students' work on students' mathematical communication skills in terms of students' achievement motivation. The student's work is assessed with indicators of mathematical communication skills. If unique data is found, interviews are conducted to dig deeper into why the data is different/deviates from the general results. The purpose of this study was to collect and analyze information about mathematical communication skills in mathematical logic material in terms of student achievement motivation, especially class X. Data collection techniques by conducting tests and interviews. Data Analysis Techniques using Triangulation. Based on the results, it can be noted that most students can illustrate contextual problems, in communication skills on indicators of expressing and explaining thoughts about mathematical ideas and situations, some students have not communicated well because understanding of the material is not good, there are students who have an understanding to connect knowledge previously to solve the given contextual problem but there are students who connect the material with other fields of science in an incorrect way and students' understanding of mathematics will affect the level of mathematical communication skills and can be influenced by student achievement motivation because it has an influence in the realization of several related indicators. with students' understanding of themselves.
