Abstract

This research examines the role of university cooperation policies in advancing technology development to achieve sustainable environmental management on an international scale. In an era characterized by increasing environmental challenges, such as climate change and resource depletion, universities have an important role to play in driving innovation and driving solutions. This article explores the importance of collaboration between universities across borders to address global environmental issues effectively, analyzing the various policies and initiatives that facilitate such collaboration. By uniting various expertise, resources, and perspectives, university collaborations can lead to cutting-edge technologies to develop sustainable solutions. Furthermore, this article emphasizes the importance of technology transfer and commercialization strategies to ensure the practical application of research results. Ultimately, this article underscores the transformative potential of university collaboration policies in promoting environmental sustainability and calls for increased efforts to enhance global collaboration among academic institutions, coordination, and monitoring of cooperation. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
