Abstract

The GGMplus (Global Gravity Model plus) is the result of the gravity modeling of the Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE) satellite and the Gravity field and steady-state Ocean Circulation Explorer (GOCE) and EGM (Earth Gravity Model) as well as the effects of short wavelength topography with a resolution of up to 200 meters. GGMplus was tested in the Kradenan mud volcano area, Purwodadi, Central Java. The results of the inversion of the GGMplus data are then interpreted to obtain certainty of the existence of a subsurface mud reservoir. The results of the gravity interpretation and seismic interpretation show a match between the presence of low density and subsurface geological structures. © 2022 Author(s).
