Health workers protection on incentive and compensation decision during the outbreak of CoviD-19 in Indonesia

Abstract

The pandemic period is a critical period in which a country is required to act quickly in preventing the spread and overcoming problems, one of which is in the health sector. In an effort to reduce the impact of corona virus infection, health workers are the frontliner in providing health efforts that include treatment. However, the actions of health workers are very vulnerable to being sued because they are related to life. In addition, work safety for health workers is also very crucial because they are very vulnerable to contracting the virus. Based on data released by Kompas, Indonesia received the highest predicate for the death of health workers, namely 647 people who had become victims of Covid-19. Thus, this is the concern of the researcher. This research will see how far the protection provided by the government is related to this issue. © 2022 American Institute of Physics Inc..
