Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are the backbone of the national economy as well as the spearhead of the domestic economy. The Partners of the Indonesian Muslim Entrepreneurs Association (ALISA) in the Pemalang area gather MSMEs in the Pemalang area to be more empowered (starting from production, packaging, marketing, registration of intellectual property brands). Products from the Pemalang SMEs have the peculiarities of the city of Pemalang and have been widely circulated with trademarks which are brands of UMKM products such as kamir and ogel ogel. Trademark as a form of legal protection is not perfect if it has not been registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. So that product brands can be imitated easily by fellow MSMEs by not considering product quality and having an effect on declining revenue turnover. The problem is that the target community (MSME actors) is not knowledgeable about the urgency of trademark registration. This condition is used by those who support the popularity of MSMEs (already have a good market). Mitra Alisa Pemalang requires training on education, acceleration, assistance in the preparation and registration of brand files so that the service solution is in the form of educational outreach activities about intellectual property brands. The methods used to solve the problem of this service program are Socialization which aims to increase knowledge and understanding in improving quality and product development. The socialization was given to representatives of 11 MSMEs because the activities were carried out during the pandemic with strict health protocols. The results of the socialization in the form of the original target audience were not optimal in understanding the urgency of registering Intellectual Property brands so that increasing the understanding of the UMKM community in the Pemalang Regency needed to be maximized. The pretest and post-test were carried out on the activity. The increase in understanding in the target community was measured from the average percentage of correct answers on the pre-test of 39% to 65% at the time of the post-test. © Dian Latifiani, Waspiah Waspiah, Ridwan Arifin, Dyah Maya.
