Hajimete no Otsukai (first errand) is a reality show that has been broadcast since 1991 by Nihon Terebi (Nittele or Nittere in Japanese). Japanese Parents give this first errand to children who have never managed alone without their parents' assistance since they were born. Usually, Parents give this errand to children who are still under the age of five to exercise courage, independence, and responsibility. The child is given a task under his abilities. While carrying out his first assignment, many character traits appear to be formed by completing this errand.
