This research aims to determine the quality of learning through Treffinger realistic model assistance schoology and to know the improvement of students' mathematical literacy skills on Treffinger realistic learning model assistance schoology. This research was a quantitative research with pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this research was the students of class VII of SMP Negeri 6 Semarang academic year 2017/2018. The sample was class VII C as the experimental class and class VII D as the control class. The technique for collecting data used observation and test methods. The results showed that the quality of learning model of Treffinger realistic assistance schoology has good category; the improvement of students' mathematical literacy skills through Treffinger realistic learning model assistance schoology is higher than the improvement of literacy ability of students using PBL. © 2019 IOP Publishing Ltd.
